Bliss Tales : Yaman ng Guinyangan

Dear Diary,

Guinyangan was my mother’s hometown in Quezon, Philippines.  This started with a few families. As it grew into

a community, my female ancestor, Victorina Garcia, had forseen this town upbringing the leaders not only of its own

land but also spread all over the world.  In the early beginnings of Guinyangan Academy, she wore many different hats.

She had selflessly followed her mission to educate the impressionable children of Guinyangan.

‘ Education is an active act of knowing oneself and others.’  Uncovering this as part of my heritage has made me proud of my roots.

To my departed grandmothers and mother, Sonia, I am eternally grateful for your influence on us,  your successors.
