ABOUT
The Universe to date is estimated to be 26.7 billion years old. If I ascribe to believe that I originated from stardust, then I am the ever evolving richness swirling co-creation of this physical manifestation called Life. As you step into my world as an artist, you’ll immerse yourself in my evolution as a multi-faceted creative. Just like the Universe my creations cradles the void, Mother Nature, ancestral wisdom and Light. The unseen unveils itself through my artistic expressions; finding comfort in its profundity, evoking Unity even through complexity and capturing the immense and timeless beauty of living.
Artists as culture change makers.
I believe that artists are antennas for this world; channeling wisdom, grounding the planetary invocation and coalescing these into matter. Its expression witnessed in various forms through sound or frequency, etching and sculptures exhumed in ancient sites, vibrantly painted pictures and masterful creations decorated and even worn throughout different cultures.
In this modern day art form, they are the globally celebrated motion pictures aiming to share, educate and impact the lives of its audience hence you call them the conglomeration of Stars in human form. Shining brightly, these mediums of art embrace the creative impulses of the human psyche as the Universe’s expression of itself; complex, grand, timeless, magnificent and wholly. Artists, courageously traveling a road less travelled.
These were my musings as a young child. My culture, school and diverse family dynamics exposed me to think for myself and question my beliefs. I succumbed to this inner rich world I continually developed as a safe space. There, I explored, questioned and created through art.
Although I was raised in a developing country, in retrospect, I was prosperous as I consider myself a manifestress of art. As far as I can remember, I was and still am an artist.
However, just like Mother Nature, it has its push and pull, ebb and flow. This road I am on required solace, a lot of introspection, persistence, strength and learning the value of patience and forgiveness. There’s certainly a kind of gravity that kept me grounded however not strong enough to keep my imagination soaring high.

If I am the Universe experiencing myself and if I peer into my life as a sacred existence therefore the universe is a sacred expression. As the Law of Divine Oneness states, everything is interconnected. Could it be that my multi-faceted artistic expression be the way for my ancestors to express themselves through me in this history defining time we all share? Could it be that beyond our established societal norm, that we are called to be more of ourselves? To introspectively define it with reverence to Oneness.
My early childhood art form was creative writing, I vividly remember how enthused I am as a child holding a pencil and observing my mind think of words that eventually turned into stories. My eyes squinted to catch more Light emanating from a candle, my only source of Light. An absolutely tactile experience more-than visual. I was moving , my mind, my pencil on a sheet of paper and so was my story. My eagerness was the energy in motion. I experienced the Law of Vibration. As I expressed more through writing, I understood the nuanced vibrational energies they contained. I presume that this could be because of my upbringing as a multi-cultural being.
The Law of Correspondence. I named one of my recent paintings, Eve. A muse who inspired me to look into the brighter side of life. I created her as a mixed media art painted and adorned not only with natural organic materials but also infused by an energy of learning. I was learning to sit with my emotion of grief after losing my mother and four other family members as they met with our Creator in the afterlife. Needless to say, it was the most challenging time of my life. Eve taught me how to correspond by slowly engaging in my own path to healing. She was my affirmation corresponding to the Universe as my claim of healing and breaking free from the shackles of lack mentality, inviting in and redefining my very own definition of prosperity. It is my own sacred work , my devotion to art . To invoke abundance that was ancestrally deprived from the female gender of my lineage.

The timeless beauty of life. This is the overarching theme of my poetry book Bliss Tales. The Law of Attraction immersed itself in each of the poems animating insights from the point of view of inanimate and sentient beings. This collection of poems begins with a call to adventure to face our shadow side. Subliminally inviting the readers to the sacred beauty of pause. This book of poems and watercolor paintings was written and painted during the time of the recent pandemic. It was a time of complexity yet it yielded a sense of integrity, for me as a family and community member and more intimately, as an artist. I am grateful for this book and the timeless insights it reminded me; that the beauty of art creation didn’t come in the most perfect circumstance and that the timelessness was defined by the joy we find in the present moment.
