Hi my name is Genesis and I am the author of this first poetry book.

This book of poems and watercolor paintings was written and painted during the time of the recent pandemic.  It was a time of complexity yet it yielded a sense of integrity, for me as a family and community member and more intimately, as an artist.   I am grateful for this book and the timeless insights it reminded me; that the beauty of art creation didn’t come in the most perfect circumstance and  that the timelessness was defined by the  joy we find in the present moment.
